Therapists Don’t Give Advice. Here’s What We Actually Do…

And why “Flexible Perspectives” isn’t just a cute name.

If you're coming to therapy for answers... I have bad news. And good news.

The bad: I won’t tell you what to do.
The good: You don’t need someone to. You need someone to help you reframe what you think you know.

  • The Myth: A therapist is a person to tell you the answers.

  • The Reality: Most of what clients want has nothing to do with what “therapy school” teaches. These are two barely-touching Venn diagram circles.

  • My Approach: I help you realize that “reality” is just a heavily filtered perception…and we’re all pretty unreliable narrators.

  • Questions I Love to Ask:

    • “According to who?”

    • “What is the consequence of you being bold?”

    • “Whose voice is that in your head?”

If you’re ready to stop looking for the “right” decision and start defining your own narrative, Flexible Perspectives might be your jam.
